My Family Originated From China - 1061 Words

My family originated from China. China is located in Southeast Asia, bordering India, Russia, Afghanistan, and other countries. China is the third largest country after Canada and Russia. However, China is the world s most populated country with the population of 1.357 billion. The official language spoken in Mainland China is Mandarin. However, there are seven main dialects in China including Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Wu, Min, Xiang, and Gan. The Chinese climate differs from region to region. China has four seasons; winter, spring, summer, and fall. Winters in China are cold; the monthly average temperatures are usually below 0 degree Celsius, or 32 degrees Fahrenheit. During spring, the temperatures are good and warm; but spring in China is a windy and dry season. Summers are long and hot in the Beijing area, or the capital of China. About 70% of the rainfall in Beijing happens during summer. Autumn is much of a cooler season and people are more relaxed in this harvest season; people in china often go on trips to pick fresh fruits and vegetable in local gardens, or farm. China is one of the Four Ancient Civilizations. China’s long and mysterious history is over 4,000 years. The Chinese dynasties include Shang, Zhou, Han, Tang, Sung, Yuan, Ming, and Qing.
